I dont know whether the last update affected iBook, but I cannot see the progress (page) of the books I'm reading. Please fix it
Documents keep regularly disappearing
Nice in many respects, but I really wonder why it’s never been fixed that pdf documents loaded in the app regularly and suddenly disappear. Then eventually everything is reloaded, but not in the previous order. Each such spontaneous "refresh" consumes a lot of time to find again what was needed and to rearrange the whole collection. It makes the application extremely unreliable, especially when it crushes in this way even in the middle of reading something.
Another point — the document folders (btw created mainly just to ease your way around the previous problem) don’t sync across devices.
Last point — please add more dictionaries and enable screen reading for more languages. Ukrainian should be a must by now, for example.
You should just stop shaming yourself
Why would anyone in their right mind use apple books app? Its piece of …”art” to the point of being unusable. Deletes books at random, even if you downloaded them few hours before and there is enough memory. It does not allow to open books via another app even though you have downloaded it locally. Where it is? Files? No. icloud? It should be (as it writes)-but no. You wont find it. You download it again and turn off icloud sync-congratulations now it is not visible at all. Your devs should receive a raise and your investors stick in the hole. No doubt a 6 year old chinese kid can make app better than trillion-dollar company
