About Gordon MacRae

Gordon MacRae got his start on Broadway in the 1946 Broadway revue THREE TO MAKE READY. In 1947, he signed to Capitol Records and had a string of hits, including "I Still Get Jealous," "It’s Magic," and "Rambling Rose." After a four-year gap, he entered the U.S. charts again in 1958 with "The Secret," and also made a series of successful singles with Jo Stafford, including the chart-topper "My Darling, My Darling." MacRae also enjoyed a successful Hollywood film career, starring in TEA FOR TWO (1950) alongside Doris Day, OKLAHOMA! (1955), and CAROUSEL (1956), among many others.
