French singer/songwriter Hubert Mounier co-founded L'Affaire Louis Trio in 1982. The Lyon-based band made its full-length album debut in 1987 and scored a handful of hits on the French singles chart -- including "Tout Mais Pas Ça," "Chic Planète," and "Mobilis in Mobile" -- through its 1997 breakup. After a decade of success, L'Affaire Louis Trio bowed out with the best-of collection Le Meilleur de l'Affaire, compiled for release in 1998. In the wake of the band's split, Mounier embarked on a solo career, releasing the albums Le Grand Huit (2001), Voyager Léger (2005), and Affaire Classée (2008). ~ Jason Birchmeier
