About Jack Rose
Jack Rose made a bit of a cacophonous stir with his ’90s noise band Pelt, but didn’t really bloom until he set out on a solo journey. In the last several years, after relocating to the City of Brotherly Love, Rose indulged his burgeoning passion for the blues-inspired fret-mastery of John Fahey, and through his own solitary songwriting as well as collaborations with the likes of Cul de Sac’s Glenn Jones and Charalmbides’ Jason Bill, has crafted a continually maturing discography of acoustic instrumentals that are an appropriate homage to his new heroes and a substantial legacy apart from his previous band.
