Best known as the former frontman of the Reykjavik, Iceland-based band Without Gravity, singer/songwriter Kalli pursued a solo career when the group folded after the release of their 2005 album Tenderfoot. Kalli expanded on Without Gravity's sweeping-yet-intimate sound for his 2007 debut album, While the City Sleeps, which he recorded with Arnar Gudjonsson from Leaves. ~ Heather Phares
