About Ronney Abramson

Born in Paris, Ronney Abramson moved to Montreal as a child; classically trained, she began writing and performing while in her teens. She attended McGill University and became part of the local folk scene. Signed to Capitol Records due to regional success in Eastern Canada and New York, Abramson released a self-titled album in 1972. After moving to Toronto and forming a band, she signed with True North and released several albums including Stowaway (1977) and Jukebox of Paris (1978). ~ John Bush
