Marlon Wayans and Cedric the Entertainer star in this outrageously funny supernatural scary movie. When young couple Malcolm (Wayans) and Kisha (Essence Atkins) move in to their dream place, they soon discover they’re not alone. But it’s not the home that’s possessed, it’s Kisha. Now, Malcolm will go to hilarious extremes - including hiring a priest, a psychic, and a team of modern-day ghostbusters to get his place and his sex life back to normal. Co-starring Nick Swardson and David Koechner, it’s the no-holds-barred, raunchy comedy that will have you laughing from start to finish.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: If the opening gag in your R-rated movie is an extended flatulence joke you should reconsider whether you're qualified to make such a movie.
Rotten: A frenetic and freewheeling satirical comedy that only sporadically scores a bull's-eye while aiming at easy targets.
Rotten: There are vague hints that the story is "really" about the difficulties and anxiety of commitment, but then one of many variations on a fart joke distracts from any actual idea.
Rotten: This parody of Paranormal Activity and other found-footage horror films too often substitutes raunch for wit.
A haunted house
Makes me laugh every time
Funniest movie I've seen. Almost peed my pants.
I'm being honest right now...
We all know what to expect when it comes to spoof movies...dumb humor with alot of sex jokes. I'll admit I like the first two "Scary Movie" movies and the reason being is because they knew what there goal was, to be as rauchy as possible. Then came the slew of terrible "movie" movies like "Superhero/Epic/Date Movie" and "Scary Movie 3, 4 (and the amazingly terrible) 5)". There main problems were the cut down "PG-13" ratings holding them back from doing what they should've done from the start which was to just be plain dirty and raunchy like the first two. I thought "A Haunted House" looked just like any of the other dumb spoofs from the trailer and commercials but because the Wayans were behind it and the "R" rating I went to see it on opening weekend. It was honestly one of the biggest surprises I've ever had at the movies. I've seen alomost every wide release since the start of the year and I laughed the entire film which is rare now-a-days and whether you listen to me or not, it was better and funnier then the overrated "Identity Thief". True, it is dumb humor which is to be expected but did any of you that gave this bad reviews actually expect any different? If so watch other movies that you expect will win Oscars. In my opinion, the reason why I think this is the greatest spoof film is because they took every little thing from the first three "Paranormal Activity" films and spoofed them perfectly including "The Devil Inside". Jokes involivng the Ouija board, the sheet over the ghost from the third PA film, the opening and ending to the first PA film...being a true horror fan, there was nothing that was NOT spoofed or missed in this film from the PA series. That's what made it so great. It was a fun movie and I really enjoyed it. I'm buying it when it comes out!! If you're open minded and don't mind some dirty humor please watch it, it's really hilarious!!! I can't wait for the sequel!
