Plot Summary

This all-star musical adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic tale will delight children and adults alike. Employing virtually every prominent British performer of its time, from a pre-Bond girl Fiona Fullerton as Alice and Michael Crawford as the White Rabbit, to comic luminaries Peter Sellers and Dudley Moore, this magical and intoxicating version explores Alice's dizzying adventures in the rabbit hole both faithfully and metaphorically as a coming of age story.

Faithful to book - Not a Disney-fied monstor

It's nearly verbatim with the Carrol's book. How often does that happen? I grew up with Cyril Richard's LPs which included a copy of the book and were narrated word-for-word to the book. Cursed with knowing the entire book by memory for that reason. This version is good at capturing the original artistic intent and imagination. Some of the added musical tunes are a bit gratuitous. Some manage to integrate dialog though. A good version of the story. Much better than Disney because of its authenticity.

A Fantasy dream, filmed to reality.

I really enjoyed watching this movie as a child; now that I've grown older, it brings back happy memories. Thanks I tunes for having such a great movie to purchase!!!

Price is to much

If you like old movies then this is a good movie to buy. The price of this movie is too high. I bought this movie at Wal-Mart for $1.
