About the Movie

New Orleans, Louisiana…1939. After escaping from a dog pound, junkyard German shepherd Charlie B. Barkin is double-crossed and killed by his old gambling partner, a pit bull named Carface Malone. Finding himself at the great pet cemetery in the sky without a good deed to his name, Charlie is returned to Earth, where a little orphan girl (who can speak to dogs and predict race winners) comes to rely upon him for help. Charlie sees that he can use the girl as a way to regain his old business and get revenge against Carface. But instead, Charlie learns that there is something else much more valuable, something which he missed in life the first time around... Love.

Made me cry!

wow this movie brings back a lot of memories. what makes this movie one of my favs is because it has Judith (she plays the voice of the little girl) is in it. she died before this movie was relised so she never saw the buzz this movie made. she was only 10. to read her story just type in Judith Berzsi on Google and see what comes up. it will make u cry 8(

kiddie fave

when i was little this was my favorite movie. and i still love it. buy the movie, its really worth it! (:

Laugh, Cry, all the while singing along!

This movie wasn't given alot of credit back when it first hit theatres, due to the release of "The Little Mermaid" at the same time. Because of this, critics faught over expectations. Thankfully, this was renowned to be one of the best-selling VHS movies of all time. The movie itself is WONDERFUL. It's considered a Family film, but no matter the age limit, they keep the build for the ending to make it not only an touching film, but a film worth watching over and over. For those who have seen it, buy it! Fall back to the days of your younger life. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you set the Disney aside awhile for a movie a bit more mystical than your Lion King.
