Life takes a downward spiral for Alyce after a night of partying goes terribly wrong and she accidentally knocks her best friend off of a building. Panicked, Alyce lies to the police about her involvement. Shortly after, she is confronted with the news that her friend miraculously survived, but is terribly injured and unable to speak. Racked with guilt, Alyce begins to unravel; losing sleep, her job and eventually her sanity. Until, that is, Alyce decides to take control of the situation. She realizes there is only one solution to hide her deadly secret. But will she stop at just one murder? Director Jay Lee (Zombie Strippers) takes us down the rabbit hole and unleashes enough chaos and horror to satisfy any gorehound.
A very interesting, and disturbing, descent into madness
While the only person worth rooting for throughout the entire film is not even awake for most of it, you can't help but feel drawn to the events that take place; Alyce is hinted at being unstable several times, but it is only after her night on the town do you realize just how disturbed an individual she actually is. Don't get me wrong; everyone she kills deserves it in some way, but her methods are so sloppy, so unorthodox and downright bizarre, you can't help but wonder just what is going on in her deranged head. As a study of an unstable individual's descent into madness, it is good. As a film where just desserts is doled out in spades? Even better!
