Rotten: Cary Grant seems stymied in this claustrophobic, essentially misogynistic material, and director Irving Reis isn't the man to pull him out.
this is one of my favorite movies...... "you remind me of a man" "what man?" "a man with power" "what power" "whodoo" "whodoo?" "you do" "i do what?" ....
Mellow greetings yookie dookie!
On of my favorite Cary Grant movies. This is definately on of the classics.
This is really such a charming comedy, the kind Cary Grant excelled at. It features the "grown-up" (16?) Shirley Temple as a love-struck high school girl whose crush on Grant makes things awkward when he falls for her older sister/guardian, Myrna Loy. His attempts to shake the girl off gently are funny and his chemistry with Myrna is sweet, too. Not deep, but a lot of fun!
