A group of friends had all they would need for a successful Easter vacation; a cabin, skis, snowmobile, toboggan, copious amounts of beer and a fertile mix of the sexes. Filmmaker Tommy Wirkola, in his own words: "DEAD SNOW is a kickback to the good old slashers like the EVIL DEAD series, where people will scream and jump in their seats, and minutes later laugh out loud. It is Scandinavia's first Nazi-zombie-horror-slasher-feel good film, maybe even the world's first, and combines blood and guts with a very dark sense of humor."
"Self-concsiously outlandish...the real stars are the special effects team, which does some admirably disgusting work" - Dargis, NY Times
"I cannot recommend the movie highly enough!..Tommy Wirkola is a talent to watch out for" - Father Death, Ain't It Cool

Critics Consensus: Though it doesn't cover new ground, Dead Snow is an entertaining mix of camp, scares, and blood and guts.
