Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Clever as the film is, though, it turns out to be an exercise in narrative withholding that's more headache provoking than suspense laden. – Wesley Morris, San Francisco Chronicle, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: A tantalizing spine-tingler. – Rita Kempley, Washington Post, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: The Others is a thoughtfully chilling movie. It is not the action, but the look, sound and feel that make it nerve-racking. – Roger Moore, Orlando Sentinel, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Mr. Serling would be pleased. – Peter Howell, Toronto Star, Jun 24, 2010

Customer Reviews

Interestingly Creepy

This is one of the better ghost films out there, and Nicole Kidman lands a solid, eerie, and convincing performance.

Best horror movie EVER

This is definitely one of the better horror movies I've watched. It didn't put extreme focus into blood and gore, which is a victory all its own. The acting was great, and the twist ending would've made Rod Serling proud.

Quality Horror Movie

This movie scared the heck out of me , and still does when I think about it today! And not only is it scary, it's very well done, with great acting and cinematography, and a good story too.
