About the Movie

As the sun rises on yet another uneventful summer, a spirited teen named Moondance Alexander finds her life taking an unexpected turn thanks to the appearance of a pinto pony named Checkers that appears to have leapt clear over the walls of his paddock. Always keen to do the right thing, Moondance returns the pony to its rightful owner — the gruff Dante Longpre. But Moondance suspects that there's something special about Checkers, and that with a little encouragement, he could become a world-class jumper. Perhaps this summer won't be quite so dull and predictable after all.

I'm so excited that they finally made a movie about English riding! I ride English and almost every horse movie out there is about western and it's nice to finally see your discipline, especially hunter/jumper, put out there. Good job!

Wonderful, Amazing, and Insirational

It is a heart-warming film, and for the whole family. They should put it on Disney Channel cause it would fit right in. If you enjoy a movie about jumping and the light comedy or the relationship between family, friends, and horses or the ones that are inspired by real events you should definately get this film!

Good clean movie to watch with your children

Great find for "Saturday Movie Night" at our house with our 2nd grade daughter. The mean girls from the high school were a little over the top (are they really that nasty!).
