About the Movie
A bank robbery gone wrong leads to a horrific crime and the capture of the most relentless outlaw in Texas…the infamous Johnny Rios. Incarcerated, Rios ups the ante with a daring ultimatum that gives the sleepy town of Wardlaw a rude awakening as their courageous sheriff prepares for the shoot-out of a lifetime. One that could either put this town on the map or annihilate it all together. The laws they live by are the laws they’ll die by on Retribution Road.
3 Stars is "OK"
Given the new crop of REALLY BAD Westerns that have been made in the last 5-10 years on low low budgets, this one was above those. Story was actually pretty good as these things go, some of the acting was decent, some…. not so much. John Castellanos is the Writer, Producer and "Stars" as the lead "Bad Guy". Lets just say John may be able to write a decent script and perhaps he produces a decent movie, but ….. well, John, If your going to keep on acting, take some classes. The bad guy in a western is the key focal point of the movie and when you just want to laugh at him and send him to bed without his supper? the movie kinds suffers. Our "Good Guy" Michael Gregory does a great job as our trusty Sheriff and helps carry the movie up to a 3 Star flick. For 4.99 you can do much worse.
