East meets West when Rocky takes on a vicious Soviet fighter who literally killed his last opponent! Sylvester Stallone writes, directs and stars in this war between nations, in which the only battle is fought in a boxing ring. Rocky Balboa (Stallone) proudly holds the world heavyweight boxing championship, but a new challenger has stepped forward: Drago (Dolph Lundgren), a six-foot-four, 261-pound fighter who has the backing of the Soviet Union. This time, Rocky's training regimen takes him to icy Siberia, where he prepares for a globally televised match in the heart of Moscow. But nothing can truly prepare him for what he's about to face - a powerfully charged fight to the finish, in which he must defend not only himself, but also the honor of his country!

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Even the hint of political power that Rocky garners by the end of this latest battle is made to seem like more of the same empty glory.
Rotten: Sylvester Stallone is really sloughing it off shamelessly in Rocky IV, but it's still impossible not to root for old Rocky Balboa to get up off the canvas and whup that bully one more time.
Fresh: I know it's awful, but I can't look away!
Fresh: While this derivative and shallow sequel might weaken the credibility of the series, there's no denying the satisfaction of watching a fight of such seemingly impossible odds.
This right here, ladies and gentlemen, is the best Rocky movie of them all. Rocky fights his greatest competitor yet; the Russian killing (literally) machine, Ivan Draco. Watch Rocky, who is in the best shape he's ever been in, as he maintains the 'Eye of the Tiger' and goes the distance with this Soviet giant when "east meets west" in this American classic! How can you not love Rocky? Get this movie now!
Fun fact about Dolph Lundgren, the guy who played Drago
He has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and turned down his Fulbright Scholarship (one of the most prestigious awards in academia, with more Nobel Laureates than any other program) to MIT to become an actor and do such classics as Rocky IV. Wonder if he ever regrets that decision?
This is THE BEST rocky movie of all of four!!! Its really good!!! get it!!!!
