Customer Reviews

Missed the name of Rachel

As one of the Rachel Ward's fans, I am a little bit confused why her name is not on the list.. Also, is there any plan to provide this film in HD?

One of the Greatest Cop Thrillers

Sometimes shockingly violent, often funny and never dull. Sharky and his motley crew of tough as nails police misfits are out to take down a notorious drug lord and his psychotic and nearly indestructible brother. Along the way Sharky falls for a stunning model/prostitute who is linked to his nemesis. The boat scene along will have you on the edge of your seat. They don't make 'em like this anymore and they don't make many movie stars with charisima and acing chops to spare like Burt Reynolds who gives it his all in what is probably his greatest flick.

Really good underappreciated Reynolds film

Really good crime drama. Violent for it's time, but not in comparison to today's films. Excellent chemistry between the actors, particularly those on Sharkey's "crew". One of the best soundtracks to never be released on cd.
