Kirk (Jay Baruchel, "Knocked Up," "Tropic Thunder"), an average Joe, can't believe his luck. Though he's stuck in a seemingly dead-end job as an airport security agent, against all odds, Molly (Alice Eve), a successful and outrageously gorgeous babe falls for him. Kirk is stunned. So are his friends, his family and even his ex-girlfriend. Now he has to figure out how to make the relationship work, even though he's the first to admit, "She's Out of My League."

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: The premise might work if the film were content to be a fairly undistinguished example of over-the-top gross-out comedy.
Fresh: Nothing would work, though, without the appealing Baruchel.
Rotten: Scenes that should be grotesquely funny (man helps another man with his intimate grooming, or the appearance of a Hall & Oates cover band) deliver only chuckles rather than a big payoff.
Fresh: The movie's terrific -- it's easily my favorite film released so far this year.
CRITICS hate themselves I swear! They have to hate movies like this because no, there's no academy award performances here, and yes, it feels like It tried to be mature comedy like Knocked Up, and fell short. But here's the deal, The average movie goer will love this film because it's so HONEST! It may not be grown up cmoedy like KNocked Up ..... but that's because the subject matter isn't as strong! Knocked Up focuses on accidental pregnancy and the comedy that can come from a one night stand gone wrong ....... "She's Out of My League" makes it lighter, and pokes fun at the awkwardness of having a crush on someone that you feel is WAYYYY out of your league .... this movie was flat out hilarious! And even better, it's charming.
dang it. make it for purchase
