About the Movie

It’s all fun and games until someone gets stabbed with a tire iron. When a pledge week prank goes terribly wrong and one of their own is killed, the popular, hard-partying sisters of Theta Pi vow never to speak of the tragedy again. But the past comes back to haunt them in the form of a homicidal maniac seeking revenge during the out-of-control graduation festivities.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Sorority Row is an interminable mess of a film that juggles more characters and undeveloped subplots than it can handle and even manages to bungle the setup. – Stephen Holden, New York Times, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: The tedious flick offers little more than a few scares, and plenty of boobs. And we're not just talking about the cast. – Kate Ward, Entertainment Weekly, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: It lapses into that familiar category of movies that go in for lots of fancy obfuscation along the way only to make its story seem all the more simple, trite and contrived by the finish. – Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: There's little to distinguish this from the rest of the entries coming down the horror film assembly line. – Frank Scheck, Hollywood Reporter, Jul 7, 2010

I wasn't expecting this to be any good but it was a fun, oldschool slasher with some amazing one-liners. Worth checking out if you like movies like Scream.

Surprisingly good!

A tongue in cheek, intentionally-cliched ride that's as funny as it is scary.

Great choice, iTunes!

I'm so glad iTunes has added this movie to their store. It is one of the best slashers in recent years. But honestly, the main focus is the dark humor. The dialogue in this film is nonstop hilarious, especially Leah Pipes' character Jessica, who is hysterically funny and witty. The movie is actually pretty intense and scary at times, but like I said, it's much more of a dark comedy. I can't wait to put this on my iPhone so I can watch it whenever I need a good laugh.
