The Bourne Legacy takes the action-packed Bourne series to an explosive new level. On the verge of having their conspiracy exposed, members of the government’s intelligence community will stop at nothing to erase all evidence of their top secret programs – even the agents involved. Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) must use his genetically-engineered skills to survive the ultimate game of cat-and-mouse and finish what Jason Bourne started. Also starring Academy Award® winner Rachel Weisz and Academy Award® nominee Edward Norton, critics are calling this a "thrilling, edge-of-your-seat heart-pounder” (Meg Porter Berns, WSVN-TV (FOX), Miami).

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Renner and Weisz work well together as two hunted souls who initially need each other for utilitarian reasons.
Rotten: Gilroy's a fine writer - he also penned Michael Clayton - but without the discipline of an action veteran like Greengrass to rein him in, he indulges his weakness to over-explain things.
Fresh: Set in stunning international locations, The Bourne Legacy delivers a story with scale, thrilling action and an exciting new protagonist in Jeremy Renner as Aaron Cross
Rotten: If Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum were the cheeky entree, mouth-watering main, and delectable dessert, respectively, watching this fourquel feels like finally receiving the bill.
I loved it!!!
I don't know why everyone is hating on this movie so much. I thought it was the best Bourne movie out of all them! I know the ending wasn't as good as it should be, but Jeremy Renner killed it!
horrible ending to a potently ok movie.
RENNER DOES JUSTICE TO DAMON.
Well, I honestly expected better, but it wasn't so bad. Jeremy Renner marked his way to my list of favorite actors after 2010's epic film "The Town." He delivered exactly what I hoped he would. However the plot was somewhat weak, and I really do not know why. A lot was missing that I can't explain. For one, the ending was so rushed that I actually said at the end of my screening at the Deauville film festival; "What?! That's it?!" It was a decent film, but still it was no match whatsoever for Mat Damons franchise. Finally it was good, but could have been better....
