Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: It says nothing new about its well-worn theme of teacher as deliverer. – Walter V. Addiego, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Ultimately effective on its own unambitious terms, but it's not the freshest thing to come down the pike. – Nelson Pressley, Washington Post, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Sure Chorus may be sentimental cheese, but it comes directly from the heart. – Desson Thomson, Washington Post, Jul 16, 2008

Fresh: Thanks to a pitch-perfect performance by Gerard Jugnot as the teacher who brings music to a cacophonous school, the familiarity of The Chorus never breeds contempt -- or boredom. Far from it. – Lisa Kennedy, Denver Post, Jun 24, 2010

c'est parfait :)

I have absolutely fallen in love with this movie! We watched it in my French class just a few weeks ago, and I adored it. Really, really great acting and well written. I love the blend of humor and darkness to it. The singing is simply incredible! Just a wonderful movie. Highly reccomend it!

Finally coming to iTunes!

I don't like buying movies, but this is definitely one of them that I am going to buy!
I love the music, the songs and the plot!
The movie is so great and emotional. It brings out pieces of darkness a French movie would have.
Can't wait when I could download it!

Thank You!

I was waiting for some time for iTunes to carry this…..the heart of this movie echoes what's been lost in our society …i love this movie…and seeing Jacques Perrin in this as well as Cinema Paradiso just really makes me feel like these are FILMS! :)
