Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Far from showing continued promise, Mutrux has now identified himself as a kind of untutored, remedical-school imitator of George Lucas. – Gary Arnold, Washington Post, Dec 18, 2015

Customer Reviews

this started me off.....

When I first saw this movie right after it came out I loved it , and I can say this movie got me started loving cars , I meen Hot Rods.

Super Great Movie - A must see

if you liked American Grafitti, you will LOVE this. More R rated humor, lots of Hot Rod /GTO/ Shelby Cobras/Muscle cars - Drive-In scenes, drag races, high school practical jokes, etc with lots of good looking stars in it in their early days. A little bit of nudity for the guys too. All with a **fantastic** background music setting that would take 20 CDs to get all in a soundtrack - the music is going constantly. Takes place on Halloween night 1965 - lots of joke playing on teachers at the local high school. This is not a cheesy "B" movie, but a well done Hollywood movie that has a cult following.

Hollywood Knights

Great niche movie of the mid-60s car/drive-in set. I love cars, (loved when they were still around) the drive-in scene, pranks, and Halloween. This one has it all for me!
