Definitely Fun... But Seriously Flawed...

I'm a fan of The Mummy franchise -- I will see the threequel -- and as such when this film was released I was very excited to see it. Now, that being said, it isn't without its flaws. The acting is pretty good, though sometimes things become a little hammy. The writing and directing are also well done, this is like the mini-version of what Indiana Jones could be -- though that may be too big a compliment. The special-effects are TERRIBLE! The Scorpion King looks so fake! The army of Anubis looks fake! Everything that had to be inserted digitally comes out terrible. Overall, The Mummy Returns is a pretty fun film and though it's basically B-movie material, you shouldn't go in expecting too much. Worth a rent, maybe a buy.

One of my favorite movies

This movie I think is one of those good movies tha is fun to watch over and over. I like the fighting styles that are key parts to the intensety of this series of movies. The Rock plays a bad guy in this movie. It's a mix of action, comedy, and thriller that will get your heart pounding. If you don't see this movie, its your loss.

GREAT

A great movie with lots of good action, many twists and turns in the plot line and a definatly must see. A good sequel.
