Real Horror Movie

I'm an avid horror fan and have been since childhood (so needless to say it takes alot to frighten me). I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me. If someone is looking for a real horror movie and not just a big gore fest, then you should check this one out. I'm 29 and it still gives me the creeps!

Great for what its worth

This movie is more a creepy and a spirtual fantasy movie more than anything. But it gets us a good look into the beliefs of voodoo, and it has Bill Pullman in it! The anthropolgist that wrote the orignal book only hated it because in the scientific community having any kind of spiritual beliefs is like heresy (the book was a scientific look at voodoo). You have to see it at least once. It provides a narrated and well drawn out story into the mysterous underworld of voodoo culture in Hati.

Definitely Great

This movie is worth your watch. Honestly, unless you hate horror movies. If you love them them you should love this one, or at least like it. It was scary, entertaining from the beginning, and had minor problems. Like near the end, not giving spoilers, just there these spirits and the effects were corny and it looked dumb and ruined the whole movie for a little bit, and the way he defeats the bad guy was corny too, and the ending in general, but everything b4 that was great!! Truly great.
