The whole world is looking for a hero, and it's up to a little pigeon named Valiant to step up and bravely serve his country. Valiant (Ewan McGregor) and his fine, feathered friends take to the sky on a wing and a prayer to prove that it's not your wingspan but the size of your spirit that truly counts. Together this rag-tag squadron of birdbrains engages in hilarious aerial adventures at a spitfire pace. From the first bumbling day of basic training through the final feather-raising mission, the flock of comical characters swoops their way toward victory. From the producer of Shrek and Shrek 2, Valiant delivers stunning animation, a top-flight voice cast, and an action-packed story loaded with laughs. It's a soaring family comedy that truly earns its wings.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Too inoffensive to engender the hostility once reserved for Howard the Duck.
Rotten: Despite a handful of good aerial 'birdfight' sequences, 'Valiant' fails to get off the ground due to a by-numbers script and dodo-ugly character design that add up to less than one would expect from 'Shrek' producer John H. WilliamsJohn H. William.
Rotten: An unconscionably dreary and amateurish-looking thing, and the rote plot and annoyingly predictable script -- a compendium of bird puns, mostly -- don't work nearly hard enough to make up for the hammy awfulness of the images.
Rotten: A passable animated feature that will entertain small children, but feels as if it was thrown together quickly.
No story, unintresting, and plain boring.
This film after watching the commercial and reading others reviews I took this film for a quick watch and after seeing it, it was a waste of money. Their is nothing great about it. The story is just cut bits and parts to seem intresting but it's not and just boring. And the characters who you would expect alot of have no life to them. Their just hollow and not really their. This is no disney classic and never will be in 10 years, 20 years, or 100 years from now. That and for the fact it's politically correct not historically correct Swastika being the biggest example since they show it no where in this film even though this is based in World War II. If you want a good story and a fun action film get The Rocketeer (it's even a G rated film,) it stays fun, intresting, and historically correct and has the adventure you want to see, even if it's one of the many very good underdog films of Disney's. Don't waste your money on this people it's not worth the $14 bucks. It should really end up in the bargain bin 3 for $10 bucks at your local Wal-Mart. Take it here it's a very poor film and doesn't exactly continue the Disney legacy in any good way.
Do Not Buy This Yet
This movie is way over priced. It's only about 75 minutes long, and it costs $14.99 to buy, as opposed to a movie double the length and only costing $9.99. The memory content isn't even worth a gigabyte, and you can get the DVD with a bunch of extra stuff for just a couple more bucks. Don't get me wrong, this is a great movie. One of my favorite animated films in fact. Just, don't buy it from Apple, it's way to expensive for what you're going to get. Or you can wait and hope they ower the price, you decide.
Really cute movie
It's one of my son's favorites.
