About the Movie
What if…, tells the story of Ben Walker (Kevin Sorbo), who fifteen years ago left his college sweetheart Wendy (Kristy Swanson), and his calling to be a preacher, in order to pursue a business opportunity. Now with a high-paying executive gig, a trophy fiancé, and a new Mercedes, he hasn’t considered a family nor felt the need to set foot in a church in fifteen years. But God has other plans. While on a thrill ride outside the city, his new car mysteriously breaks down, and he’s visited by a tow truck driver named Mike (John Ratzenberger) who claims to be an angel sent to show Ben what his life would look like had he followed his true calling. Suddenly Ben wakes up in the middle of domestic chaos as his wife Wendy and daughters (including Disney Channel’s Debby Ryan) are getting ready for church, where Ben is the new pastor. Before he can get back to his old life, Ben must first embrace this reality and discover the value of faith and family, and perhaps restore his love for those who were heartbroken fifteen years ago: Wendy and God. In the tradition of It’s a Wonderful Life and The Family Man, What if… is a story of finding your true purpose in life.
Great Family Movie
Thank You Jesus!
I just got through watching this movie and I DID receive a Blessing. This is a wonderful movie for the whole family and for those who like me have not been keeping their eyes upon the Lord like we should have through out our lives. Our choices in life that we make is not always the correct ones. Only God and His will should be done in our lives and this should be our free will , to follow Him. When we die and stand in the presence of the One True God (I AM THAT I AM) I pray He will remember that I did turn my life over to Him and not this world. Be in this world, but not of this world. What ever we chose and how we chose to live is a chose WE ALL will have to answer for. We will all have to die one day, because we all have a birth date, a dash, and a death date on our tombstone. The dash is how we lived our lives and that is what matters most in this world. Think about it. What will your dash say? God loved us soooo much and He wanted us all with Him, that He DID send His only Son to die for us, so that we all could be saved, if we believe with all our hearts that Jesus suffered and died for us all! Please think about it and accept Him, for there is NO other way but Jesus Christ, God's ONLY SON. This is my prayer for everyone. Amen.
