A regular DJ at super-clubs Fabric and Le Rex Club and remixer of tracks by Kaiser Chiefs, Mika, and the Prodigy, French electronic artist Pierre-Alexandre Busson, aka Yuksek, launched his own solo career with debut album Away from the Sea in 2009. Influenced by Daft Punk, its combination of techno, hip-hop, and psychedelic rock produced the singles "Tonight" and "Extraball," and featured collaborations with electro duo Chromeo, Scottish dance-punk band Shitdisco, and U.S. rapper/singer Amanda Blank. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

Dance music producer, remixer, and DJ Pierre-Alexandre Busson, known foremost as Yuksek, studied piano at a conservatory for several years prior to recording as DJ Pea and joining a series of bands, including the electropop, new wave-inspired Klanguage.
