Aside from his longtime employer, Ricky Skaggs, Hicks is joined by Marty Stuart, Del McCoury, Ronnie McCoury, Rob McCoury, and others. Fiddle Patch is a fun, toe-tapping set that respects Hicks' bluegrass roots while leavening them with other influences. Altogether, an album to enjoy.
