Intersound's 12-track In the Jailhouse Now offers a representative selection of Webb Pierce's biggest hits — including "I Ain't Never," "There Stands the Glass," "Back Street Affair," and "I'm Tired" — but the album doesn't have particularly good sound or packaging. The Country Music Foundation's King of the Honky Tonk is a better, more thorough retrospective, but In the Jailhouse Now is an acceptable budget-line issue.
