Album Review

This tape represents a very natural pairing of the Japanese bamboo flute with Tibetan bells. John Singer specializes in Honkyoku, traditional meditation music of the Fuke sect of Zen Buddhism. Singer's skillful and soulful playing is beautifully augmented by Karma Moffet's sonorous cymbals, gongs and singing bowls to produce this haunting and evocative tape. ~ Backroads Music/Heartbeats, Rovi
