Did we really need a collection of remixes by — Mortiis? Some Kind of Heroin is exactly that, a comp that centers on the Grudge disc. A swirling collection of gothic electronica that posits metal, industrial, darkwave, acid house and trance architectures surround the man with the long prosthetic nose and witch's hat "songs." Those culpable include Zombie Girl, XP8, the Kovenant, In the Nursery, Dope Stars, Gothminister, David Wallace, and Velvet Acid Christ among others. The In the Nursery remix of "The Worst in Me," and the PIG remix of "Gibber." For hardcore fans of the mysterious one only.
