Vocalist Vic Hix lead a number of hard rock and heavy metal cover bands throughout his native of Cleveland, OH, before forming Aftershok in 1997. Accompanied by guitarist George Mihalovich, drummer George B., and bassist Nick Griska, the inspirations of Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Ronnie James Dio completed the quartet's lineup and sound. By the end of 2000, Aftershok self-released their debut full-length, Unfinished Business. ~ Mike DaRonco
