Eels, End Times End Times proves that an 'album about divorce' can contain multitudes – and that the concept album still matters. Tell us why you chose this song. “Player Two (Unplugged)” This song is a mix of many things we hold dear – earnest romanticism, nostalgia, a tongue-in-cheek approach, plus a touch of melancholy! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at STRAB festival in Mozambique in 2015 in the perfect atmosphere on the deck overlooking the ocean – and seeing whales breach minutes later during the next act's set. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's a handful of South African festivals we'd still love to play, and a couple of studio collaborations we'd love to pull off. But top of the list is always the next song to release... cause it's gonna be a good one!
