About The X-Ecutioners

Formerly known as the X-Men, this legendary DJ crew formed in early 1990s New York and was originally comprised of 11 members. After the name change, a truncated formation of four members (Rob Swift, Roc Raida, Mista Sinista, and Total Eclipse) recorded X-PRESSIONS in 1997-- their commercially overlooked debut, showcasing production skills, turntable wizardry, and a handful of unsigned lyricists. Five years later, they caught attention with the Loud Records release, BUILT FROM SCRATCH, which included collaborations with a slew of bigger name hip-hop artists and spawned the single, “It’s Goin’ Down,” featuring Linkin Park. Sinista left the group by their third outing REVOLUTIONS (2004)-- which yielded three singles-- as did Swift a year later.
