About Biffy Clyro

The members of Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro played their first gig together as Skrewfish when they were 15. ∙ The group landed their first record deal after being spotted by a label rep while performing on the Unsigned Bands stage at Scotland’s T in the Park festival. ∙ In 2010, their album Only Revolutions was nominated for the UK’s prestigious Mercury Prize. ∙ “Bubbles,” from Only Revolutions, features a guest guitar solo from Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme. ∙ The cover of 2013’s Opposites was among the last created by legendary graphic artist Storm Thorgerson, who designed album covers for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Peter Gabriel. ∙ Biffy Clyro have had three consecutive chart-topping albums in the UK, including 2020’s A Celebration of Endings, which won Album of the Year at the Scottish Music Awards.
