JOAQUÍN (Leonardo Sbaraglia) is a man in a wheelchair. His house, which has known better days, is now a gloomy and dark place. One day BERTA (Clara Lago), an exotic dancer, and her daughter BETTY knock on his door in response to an ad he placed for a room for rent. Their presence brightens up the house and cheers up Joaquín’s life. One night, while he is working at his basement, where he repairs computers, Joaquín listens to an almost imperceptible noise. He puts his ear against the wall and realizes that a group of thieves, lead by GALERETO (Pablo Echarri), is building a tunnel that passes underneath his house so they can rob a nearby bank. Joaquín watches the thieves, takes notes and manages to know every detail of the robbery. That is the moment when he starts to implement a plan against the clock with the purpose of hindering the intentions of Galereto and his band.
