Anyone can join a meeting on Meet via an invitation. However, some capabilities are available only to Google Workspace customers.
With Google Workspace, you and your team can:

Attend meetings on the go. Meetings organised by Google Workspace users also create a dial-in phone number for each meeting so that every guest can join – without Wi-Fi or data.

Meet automatically exit
Hi developers, I am very grateful to be able to use Google meet to take classes under this pandemic. It's only in the past two months. When I start another app while using the meet, the meet often exits automatically (usually when the other app directly covers the screen). When using meet for teaching, I often need to share a lot of content, including sharing slides, viewing Google classrooms, etc. Before this, I didn’t have such a problem, I don’t know if it’s a problem with my settings or what, I hope to solve this problem, thank you 🙏
RECOMMENDATIONS PLS TAKE NOTE
Hi developers I actually enjoy using google meet for my online classes, however I hope yall can change layout of the meet bcs sometimes it’s very small to be spotlighted I preferred the previous version, and I think yall can make the (eg +89 others) the thing yall can make it to scroll to see all the participants like the current layout but you can scroll through the participants instead of just listing the name and also I’m using google meet on iPad Air 2 but it doesn’t have the change background icon or feature but all the things are updated I’m really very sad about it bcs my sister using iPad Pro 2020 can change the background. I hope all the features in chrome browser version can be fitted in iPad and iPhone, everything is just there! I also hope that yall can have the history of the meeting that we joined like you can just tap on the link instead of going back to classroom and search the link from high and low but just click it in the history page something like that! anyway I still enjoy this app! Hope you see my recommendation or improvement! Good luck. Thank you 🤍
Bug fixes
Okay,I just need a reason why I was being kicked out of the meet usually. Last time I was in primary in Year 4,someone just kicked me out and I could not join in. I restarted my iPad yet it is like this. I complained to my teacher and he said it’s okay. Oh last time I was being kicked out during my IPC class in Year 5,I told to my friends and told them to tell the teacher I was being kicked out. Cuz I do not know my class teacher’s email. She was basically teaching online but suddenly I being kicked. I restarted a lot yet the same. Even in my Year 4,I was kicked with my friend,yet we both had tried to restart and still the same thing. I called my mother to come home and settle the meet problem. WHEN THIS IS GOING TO STOP THIS PROBLEM? I hope this time it won’t happen again! Please developers,fix this problem so I can have peace!

Hi there. Try restarting your phone and make sure you have updated the Meet app to the most recent version. If that doesn't work, try clearing the app’s cache and storage.
