Poor website, discounts don’t work, poor customer service.
Never used shopee before but downloaded the app some time ago and got a discount voucher which was valid and wanted to buy some stuff and tried to use the first time discount but first there was no voucher on checkout both on the website and also via the app and a few days later there was a voucher but said abnormal error, contacted customer service at least 10x and they asked me to email the issue which I complied. They again asked me to email the issue which I complied.
After that they accused me of using the discount before. When I pointed out this was the first purchase I was ever making on shoppee he checked again and realised I was telling the truth and that he would escalate the issue with the technical department. I asked to speak to management level over the phone but first they flat out refused to pass me on, then put me on hold till I put down the phone and called back again. This happened 3x in a row. Now they send me some rubbish via email about it being the vendor issue, to use the voucher somewhere else. Tried that and still can’t work. You guys need to fire your entire customer service department. They are about as useful as a leaking urinary bag.
Thanks but no thanks, I’ve deleted my account and uninstalled the app.
Shame on you guys for putting me through this nonsense and shame on you because my son won’t be able to get the stuff he needs for his upcoming birthday celebrations.
PENDING DELIVERY UPDATES & NO FREE SHIPPING
As a preferred seller at Shopee and has been into SHOPEE FREE 5KG SHIPPING PROGRAM since joining selling in this platform, everything went well besides having a few cases on late updating of delivery status. Recently, this lateness of updating frequently happening, buyer has already received the goods but in the system still appears as "TO SHIP"; buyer cannot acknowledge receipt due to no button for “Item Received”. This is also causes seller's payment is delayed.
2nd issue, lately my buyer has to pay the shipping cost instead of getting FREE shipping as per what appears (FREE green truck) on my product listing since I joined this program early this year. I've lost a high no of potential sales due to this inconvenience. Already called & emailed support staff everytime this happened, but NO pleasant reply from them. I get more confused after their explanation. I hope Shopee will look into this matter & fix all the errors immediately. I heard a lot of customer complaint that Shopee nowadays is not like Shopee before. Incorrect info on free shipping and late update on delivery status.
I've been shopping online since before.. been learning with some newbie website money maker from malaysia.. but so far, shopee is the best, we don't have to pay any postage for item that we had shopped RM30 above.. delivery was fast, no hustle and no pening2 to choose which postage airline or shipping to used.. and if we didnt like the seller or the product or the delivery that takes too long, we can easily ask for money return.
Just be a bit 'rajin' to study or to search which item has the lowest price and best quality by reading the comments.. but so far, i have no problem using shopee.. the apps also easy to use. Been shoping for my family Hari Raya items in shopping. And now i'm moving to my new house. Couldnt wait to shops more things from shopee.. 😘😘😘😘
