Chemcast - Equipment in the Lab
This is an enhanced podcast (one with pictures that go along with the podcast) that reviews that lab equipment you'll see in your chemistry course. Everything from scoopulas to graduated cylinders are identified and a little background information is given on some of the equipment as well.

Measurement - Accuracy, Precision & Significant Figures
This podcast covers the basic concepts of measurement. What makes measurements uncertain? If measurements are uncertain can we still use them? The answer is yes... we just have to make sure they are RELIABLE by incorporating accuracy and precision into our measurements. Significant figures are also discussed so that when we are making measurements in the lab... or anytime for that matter... we do not provide a false sense of precision. In essence, sig figs tell us where to round!
