Right Time (Remastered)

Right Time (Remastered)

Quite possibly the most socially conscious reggae group of the '70s, Mighty Diamonds used Right Time to courageously tackle such universal issues as homelessness, violent crime and political turbulence. Donald Shaw uses his plaintive voice to bemoan the suffering of his people on the touching "Why Me Black Brother Why" and the poignant "I Need a Roof". Yet there are still moments of joy, particularly on the sweet love song "Shame and Pride", a track that bounds along with fiery brass and emotive vocal harmonies.
