imatera is the first universal application for iPhone and iPad dedicated to the famous city of stones.
It 's the description of a place become Unesco Heritage, is a photo book, a book of visual history, a guide to the sights of the city enriched by the recognition of one's location in Maps but it is also a magnifying glass on the centuries-old festival Madonna della Bruna, second in Italy for attendance. A webcam pointing at the Piazza Vittorio Veneto you will live, live, the main phases.
The section on food invites you to discover the bread of Matera recently recognized by the European Union IGP and traditional recipes.
Over time, various updates have introduced the Augmented Reality in Maps, the section dedicated to Cinefabrica and Antonio Andrisani (winner Silver Ribbon 2012 for the short film Stand by Me), video magazine of TRM local radio-TV station, audio guides in the Maps section (in photo of the point of interest, by Sassiweb.it), introduced new webcam overview (ed. SassiLive.it), the museum MUSMA, events Egghia, the reviews of VivaVerdi and Women's Fiction festivals and more.
This is just the beginning of a project that will include additional sections, places and topics.
Matera is a city of art that not only lives on its past but is a candidate for city European Capital of Culture 2019.
