A sharp turn after his ambitious effort Genius, Krizz Kaliko’s third album parties hard, strutting and swaggering across the club in that freaky manner fans of the Strange Music label appreciate. The good-time club tracks fall into two distinct categories: strip-club anthems that swagger for the women and gimmicky numbers that entertain thanks to sheer wackiness. “Stripper Dance” is the best of the former while “Simon Says” and “Ack-A-Donkey” fight it out for first on the latter count, but the real winner here is any Krizz regular who thought Genius needed to lighten up.

Rapper Krizz Kaliko first came on the scene collaborating with his fellow Kansas City MC Tech N9ne. In 2007, he made an appearance on the Kottonmouth Kings album Cloud Nine. A year later he released his debut solo album, Vitiligo, the title being a reference to a skin disorder that Kaliko suffers from, which causes his skin to lose pigment in certain areas.
