Surprisingly pleasant and very well done

Although I know of Herbie Hancock for years, so far I have never bought an album. But this time the combination of great singers and players with Herbie convinced me. And it is a great, very great album, surprisingly pleasant, very well done, and all songs are wonderful mix of the combined artists! So from the bottom of my heart I can recommend this cd!

Great album

I have a number of works that Herbie Hancock produced. His style is great and his notes are always in tune with the environment. In this album its no different. First of, the voices of the singers are all tuned to the song they are singing which makes all tracks sound authentic. There's great harmony in the way Herbie Hancock plays the piano in combination with the voices of the singer and without taking away his style.

I'm listening to this album now and then for the past 5 years. Somehow after listening to it, within the week it pops back in my head and i put it on again.

10 bucks very well spent.

Though grounded in Bill Evans and able to absorb blues, funk,...
