Soulver helps you do quick calculations and work things out. Use Soulver to play around with numbers, do "back of the envelope" calculations, and solve day-to-day problems.

Annotate your numbers with words, so that they make sense to you. Soulver picks out the numbers and calculates your answer as you type. Do calculations over multiple lines, and refer to previous lines, much like a spreadsheet.

Soulver is great for adding things up, doing all kinds of percentages easily, and converting things, like currencies. It's quicker to use than a spreadsheet, and smarter and clearer than a traditional calculator.

Prijzig, maar heerlijke rekenmachine

Ik heb 'normale' digitale calculators altijd irritant gevonden. Een fysieke apparaat letterlijk overzetten naar je de computer, inclusief alle beperkingen, is omslachtig en door muisbesturing onhandiger te gebruiken dan een fysieke calculator. Terwijl een Mac eigenlijk een zwaar superieure calculator zou moeten zijn ten opzichte van de Casio.
Ik vind de prijs van Soulver best wel hoog, maar Soulver is de prettigste rekenapp die ik ken. Ik heb m vrijwel altijd open, om even snel wat te berekenen. Doordat Soulver eigenlijk een texteditor is met rekencapaciteit, is het de ideale app om je aantekeningen, boodschappenlijstjes, etc in te maken, en op natuurlijke manier je berekeningen tussen je aantekeningen door te doen, zoals je dat op papier ook zou doen.
Ook bedragen omrekenen gaat moeiteloos, en Soulver houdt automatisch de wisselkoersen bij.
Aanrader als je minstens eenmaal per dag iets berekent.

Edit: ik zie dat de prijs al lange tijd op 9,99 zit. Voor dit bedrag is dit een no-brainer. Kopen!

this is my go-to app for small calculations, examples i use it for is quick currency conversion and checking how many hours of tv shows i have left
the on-the-fly calculating works very nicely and works faster than a notepad with pencil
