You could see the other side of the world under your foot.
It might be a fantastic landscape, with mirror-reversed continents and oceans.
You would also realize that eastern countries are not in "east", or western countries arenot in "west" as you had thought of.

TransparentEarth enables you to see-through the earth.
Camera overlay view shows the position of major cities on the reversed blue marble.

Simple and brilliant

This is the sort of app that I really like! It uses the possibilities of the iPhone to create a completely new perspective.
I've often wondered where, say, Vancouver would be from where I stand: not only in terms of West or North, but also how much below the horizon - indeed, where would I see it if the Earth were transparent?
This app does that. A splendid idea!
