About Bridgit Mendler

Originally known for her work on the Disney Channel, singer, songwriter and actress Bridget Mendler found success as a pop musician in between film and TV gigs. • Mendler began writing songs when she was six or seven. Her first composition was about Jesus in the manger—it was inspired by her brother’s Play-Doh nativity scene. • After appearing in several films and TV shows, she played Olivia White in the 2011 Disney Channel movie Lemonade Mouth. She also recorded several songs for the soundtrack. • Her 2012 debut album, Hello My Name Is…, reached the Top 40 of the Billboard 200. Mendler co wrote every song on the album. • Mendler’s acting resume has grown to include films like Muppets Most Wanted (2014) and Father of the Year (2018) and TV series like Nashville and Merry Happy Whatever. • She returned to music in 2017 with the singles “Temperamental Love”, “Can’t Bring This Down” and “Diving”.
