Directed by Tate Taylor (The Help), "Get on Up" is the biopic of the legendary singer, performer, and artist, James Brown. The feature stars Chadwick Boseman as the Godfather of Soul and follows the life of the performer from his childhood and humble beginnings in Georgia to the prime of his career as he revolutionizes the music scene with his infectious songs, hypnotic dance moves, and amazing performances. Additionally, the film explores Brown's trouble with the law and drugs at the height of his international stardom. Produced by Brian Grazer, the film also stars Octavia Spencer and Viola Davis.
