In this series of physics lectures, Professor J.J. Binney explains how probabilities are obtained from quantum amplitudes, why they give rise to quantum interference, the concept of a complete set of amplitudes and how this defines a "quantum state". A book of the course can be obtained from http://bit.ly/binneybook

Its a lot to digest

I haven't seen a lot of the series yet, but I think it is great that these lectures are freely available.

About the mysterious failures for downloading:
The lectures include video and can take up a lot of memory. It may be that your tablet/mobile runs out of memory halfway downloading all of it at once! On a laptop or computer this is less likely to happen.

undownloadable 9 through 27

first 8 parts downloaded fine. the rest is not downloadable for some mysterious reason. tried many times.
