Album Review

Award-winning Banda Machos delivers a 12-track album combining the most popular Mexican styles, starting with its main title, "A Prueba de Balas," and including "La Ruquita" and "Esa Chinche Vieja," performed in a northern style known as Cumbia norteña. They turn to ballads with "Dentro De Mi" and "No Me Toques," mariachi with "El Triste," corrido with "El Bato Perrón," and merengue with "Ya le Dieron Pa' Sus Tunas." An interesting collection from a well-known Mexican band.
