Album Review

Fresh out of the clink, Philly mainstay Beanie Sigel hit the ground running with his first official post-release release, The Solution. On the content side, Sigel seems more cash-and-jewels oriented then ever. As the chorus of the bouncy, shopping-spree anthem "'Bout That (Lemme Know)" bluntly puts it, Beans is all about "Money! The Broad Street Bully shows he can still get grimy (with Styles P on "U Ain't Ready 4 Me"), straight-up brutal (on the robbery narrative "Go Low") and profoundly pensive (on "Dear Self (Can I Talk to You)" and "Prayer"). The Solution features guest appearances from R. Kelly, Raheem DeVaughn, Jay-Z, R. City, Diddy, Ghostface Killah, and Scarface., Rovi
